At GovLinked Pty Ltd (“GovLinked”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), we strive to deliver high-quality, professional visa and migration services. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we are committed to transparency regarding fees, service scope, and refund eligibility.

This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued, the process for requesting a refund, and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

1. No Refund for Change of Mind

Due to the professional nature of our services, we do not offer refunds if you change your mind after engaging our services or no longer wish to proceed for personal reasons.

2. Services Rendered

Refunds will not be issued for services that have already been delivered in part or in full, including but not limited to:

  • Consultations with a Registered Migration Agent

  • Eligibility assessments or written advice

  • Preparation or review of application documents

  • Lodgement of applications to the Department of Home Affairs

  • Communications on your behalf with government authorities

Once work has commenced, fees are considered earned.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered in the following limited circumstances:

  • You have paid for a service in error and notify us within 48 hours, and no work has been commenced

  • We are unable to deliver the service for reasons solely attributable to GovLinked (e.g. agent unavailability or system error)

  • You are entitled to a refund under your consumer rights (e.g. where services were not delivered with reasonable care and skill, or within a reasonable time)

Any refund granted will be at the sole discretion of GovLinked and may be partial depending on how much work has been completed at the time of the request.

4. Visa Outcomes

We provide professional assistance in preparing and lodging your application but we do not and cannot guarantee visa approvals. The outcome of any visa or migration application is at the sole discretion of the Department of Home Affairs.

Refunds will not be provided in the event of a visa refusal or delay, unless required by law.

5. Digital Products (e.g. Guides or Templates)

If you purchase a downloadable guide, template, or digital product:

  • Refunds will not be issued for change of mind or if you fail to read the product description

  • Refunds may be considered if you are unable to access the product due to technical errors on our part and notify us within 7 days of purchase

6. How to Request a Refund

All refund requests must be made in writing to info@govlinked.com.au and include:

  • Your full name and contact details

  • The service or product purchased

  • Reason for the refund request

  • Supporting documentation (if applicable)

We aim to review and respond to all refund requests within 10 business days.

7. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You may be entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if services are not delivered as promised or are faulty.
