These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your interaction with GovLinked Pty Ltd ACN 680 427 749 ("GovLinked", "we", "our" or "us"), whether you are browsing our website, making a booking, or using any of our services (collectively, the "Services"). By using GovLinked or making a Booking, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
GovLinked: GovLinked Pty Ltd ACN 680 427 749, the operator of the Services.
ACL: The Australian Consumer Law as contained in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.
Amendment Fee: A service fee payable for administrative tasks when a Guest requests changes to a confirmed Booking.
Booking: A confirmed acceptance by a Guest of a quotation issued by GovLinked.
Conditions: These Terms and Conditions.
Contract: The agreement formed between the Guest and GovLinked upon Booking confirmation.
Guest: Any person or party booking or intending to book travel through GovLinked.
Departure Date: The scheduled date of commencement of travel.
Deposit: An upfront payment to secure a Booking, as specified in the relevant quotation.
Force Majeure: Events beyond reasonable control of GovLinked or its suppliers that prevent the fulfilment of a Contract.
GST: Goods and Services Tax as defined in applicable Australian legislation.
Material Alteration: A significant change to Travel Arrangements as judged reasonably by GovLinked.
Products: Travel-related services, such as flights and accommodations, offered by third-party Suppliers.
Quotation: A preliminary travel proposal issued by GovLinked to the Guest.
Refundable Amounts: The amount to be refunded to the Guest after accounting for non-recoverable expenses and fees.
Retainable Amounts: Costs GovLinked retains to cover administrative or supplier charges.
Services: GovLinked’s booking, support, and payment processing services.
Suppliers: Independent third parties delivering the Products.
Supplier Fees: Charges imposed by Suppliers related to amendments or cancellations.
Tax Invoice: A compliant invoice issued under applicable Australian tax law.
Travel Arrangements: Combined travel elements organised by GovLinked for the Guest.
2.1 These Terms exclusively apply to all Services and Contracts provided by GovLinked. Any variation must be agreed upon in writing.
2.2 Payment of a Deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
2.3 Guests acknowledge that certain Products are subject to additional Supplier terms, which may override these Terms where necessary.
2.4 It is the Guest’s responsibility to review Supplier terms before booking. In any conflict, these Terms prevail in relation to GovLinked’s role.
3.1 Quotations are valid for 7 days from the date of issue.
3.2 A Deposit of 10% of the trip cost or \$500 per Guest (whichever is greater) is required at the time of booking.
3.3 Bookings made within 45 days of departure require full payment at the time of request and may incur an express processing fee.
4.1 Guests acknowledge that travel carries inherent risks, including exposure to communicable diseases. GovLinked and its partners follow public health guidelines, but Guests are responsible for assessing and accepting personal health risks.
4.2 Guests must ensure compliance with all vaccination, entry, and local health regulations. Non-compliance may lead to denied services without liability to GovLinked.
4.3 GovLinked is not responsible for changes, interruptions, or losses due to public health mandates or Guest non-compliance with travel health requirements.
5.1 All pricing is in Australian Dollars and subject to change due to availability, exchange rates, and Supplier charges.
5.2 Quoted prices apply to the entire booking package and cannot be broken down by component.
5.3 Prices may vary based on the number of Guests or shared arrangements.
5.4 GovLinked reserves the right to apply surcharges related to fuel, taxes, or Supplier pricing changes.
5.5 No refunds are issued for unused services.
6. Payments
6.1 Final payment deadlines depend on the type of package and will be stated in your quotation.
6.2 Late payments may result in cancellation.
6.3 Credit card payments incur a surcharge (currently 1.5%).
7.1 Change requests must be submitted in writing and may incur fees. Late changes may be treated as cancellations.
8.1 Guests must provide written notice for cancellations.
8.2 Cancellation charges apply on a sliding scale based on notice period.
8.3 Additional Supplier Fees may be applicable and are non-refundable.
9.1 GovLinked is not liable for disruptions caused by Force Majeure events.
9.2 We will attempt to provide alternative arrangements or credit where feasible.
9.3 Material changes to your itinerary will be communicated promptly, and refund options may be offered if needed.
10.1 GovLinked acts as an agent for third-party Suppliers. We are not liable for their acts or omissions.
10.2 GovLinked assumes no responsibility for injuries, losses, or damages arising from travel.
10.3 Activities with heightened risk (e.g., adventure sports) are undertaken at the Guest’s sole discretion and risk.
10.4 GovLinked strongly advises obtaining comprehensive travel insurance.
10.5 GovLinked is not liable for any denied entry, visa issues, or safety standards abroad.
11. Communications
11.1 Notices should be sent via email or registered mail. Delivery is confirmed by receipt.
12. Governing Law
12.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. All disputes are subject to Victorian jurisdiction.
13.1 Personal information is collected in accordance with our Privacy Policy for service provision and communications.
13.2 Data may be shared with Suppliers only as required.

14.1 These Terms may be updated from time to time.
14.2 Invalid provisions will be severed without affecting the remainder.
14.3 Corrections to errors or omissions may be made without notice.
15.1 Guests consent to GovLinked using photos or recordings from trips for promotional purposes unless they opt out in writing.
16.1 Travel documents are issued post-payment and must match passport details. Guests are responsible for collecting documents in time.
17.1 Guests are responsible for checking official government travel advisories and proceeding at their own risk.
